Ancient rights.

No passport to Pimlico,
homes fit for heroes,
coming back from the war,
homeless and poor.

The big boot and the Magna Carta,
empty homes are a sin,
the rich leaving them to rot,
who will rock the baby,
in the apple box cot?

As you fix the electric
and wait for the veggie stew from the communal kitchen,
ancient rights and flea bites
we shall not be moved.
